Two Love Stories, Two Backdrops: Waterfall Romance & Piedmont Park Magic
Engagement sessions are one of my favorite ways to tell a couple’s story. Each one is a reflection of who they are—playful, romantic, adventurous, or quietly sweet. Recently, I had the joy of capturing two beautiful couples in two very different but equally stunning locations: a serene waterfall hideaway and the vibrant heart of Atlanta, Piedmont Park.
Tucked deep in nature in Northeast Georgia, Dylan and Becca's engagement session felt like something out of a fairytale. The two were naturals, laughing freely, embracing with ease, and completely at home in the woods. The waterfall added a dreamy, cinematic backdrop as they splashed barefoot in the shallows and shared quiet moments on the rocks. The mist caught the sunlight perfectly, wrapping them in light. This session was all about raw beauty and adventurous love.

This session was extra special, as it featured my best friend Christie and her fiancé, Ben. These two brought a timeless elegance to their Piedmont Park shoot. With the Atlanta skyline in the background, blooming flowers, and the most perfect light, their session truly felt like a romantic movie set. Dreaming of their future, stealing kisses by the lake, and soaking in the life of the city, they radiated joy and anticipation for the next chapter of their lives. Every photo captured their calm, confident love and the excitement of starting this new journey together. It was an incredibly meaningful shoot for me, as I’ve known Christie for years, and seeing her so happy with Ben made this session even more memorable.
